Enrollment for PCR’s Summer Learn to Row Camp 2022 is OFFICIALLY OPEN!

PCR is excited to announce we are welcoming new student-athletes to our Summer Learn-to-Row Camps! Enrollment for these programs is officially OPEN now through Friday, May 27th! Students in this program will participate in a 3-week long rowing camp where they will learn basic rowing technique and receive a general introduction to fitness, nutrition, and the sport of rowing. Summer Camps are open to anyone in grades 7 through 12 who attends a Philadelphia public or charter school. All camps run Monday through Friday from 9 am to 12:30 pm. A camp t-shirt, daily snacks, and SEPTA cards will be provided to all participating students.

All camps are COMPLETELY FREE, but students must enroll by May 27th.

Dates for PCR’s summer learn-to-row include:
Session 1: July 11th to 29th
Session 2: August 1st to August 19th

PLEASE NOTE: Space in our summer camps is limited and priority will be given to students who have not previously participated in a PCR program.

Proof of swimming ability is requested for participation in our summer programs but is not required. Students who cannot swim two lengths of the pool or tread water for two minutes will be asked to wear a life jacket when they are on the water. All abilities are welcome to join! Due to continued COVID-19 restrictions, swim test and lesson dates are still to be announced.
